INCIDENT TRAINING
ALL-HAZARD PROGRAM, SERVICES & COURSES

The Training You Need.   The Trainers You Want.   The Process You Control.

Budgets are lean.   Training time is scarce.   The public is less trusting of government expenditures.   Budget managers are more critical.   The electorate ’ s mood in the current media environment means local officials are more open to immediate, unmanaged and unfair criticism of their actions.

Now more than ever, training investments in high profile responder performance must deliver the results you expect in the timeframe you require with the value you need.

IMTC offers the training quality, team management, and contracting flexibility community leaders want and the stability that All   Hazard Incident Management Team (AHIMT) leaders need.

The following individual courses are offered by Incident Management Training as customized programming with pre-course research that lets us individually tailor examples, simulations and exercises to the specific incident history, risks or concerns of the jurisdiction.

The National Standards Team Compliance Audit

With year round responsibilities, new team leaders and members rotating in, changing national standards and more complex legal accountability, independent compliance auditing becomes an essential performance and safety service.

Team Mentoring

Qualified IMTC personnel are deployed to an incident with the responding team observe performance, mentor best practices, provide advice and perspective to help the team stay on target in their response and on track in their development; and to help individuals with their qualifying Position Task Book requirements.

Qualifying Exercises and Simulations

IMTC designs exercises to optimize your training time and resources.   With both senior leadership and practical role experience   incidents as iverse as the “ Big Dig ” structural failure, 9/11, the Challenger recovery, rail hazmat evacuations, nuclear containment issues, chemical plant explosions, regional firestorms and other more local responses, IMTC ’ s instructional cadre works efficiently with local leaders to design qualifying exercises and simulations that:

1. Are event intensive to maximize your training value
2. Prepare your team for most likely local incidents
3. Test team members against DHS compliance requirements.
